We have been quite busy this month designing and constructing the new s.p.o.t.s inspired rooms! We have completed a few of the rooms and are ready to share the BTS of our building process, including blueprints, Amazon links, and more. In this post, we’ll be showcasing our first two finished rooms, the s.p.o.t.s office and dance studio.
ABOUT THE DECOR
All of the s.p.o.t.s dolls have a signature color that we associate them with. Jo’s signature color is red, so we designed the dance studio to feature red decor.
We wanted each of the rooms to have a specific stand-out element in it. For the dance studio, we decided to create mini marquee letter lights, using 3” free-standing wood letters from Amazon. The letters originally came in white and we painted them red for the room, adding silver gems with hot glue to appear as the lights.
Another feature we added to the studio is the mirror wall. We purchased a reflective vinyl decal film sheet from Amazon as well and covered one of the two walls of the studio to act as the mirror. We will provide links for our two Amazon purchases below.
ROOM CONSTRUCTION
The studio was built as a basic box room foam board structure for easy storing. We went with a white brick design to keep the room simple but add some texture to the background for photos.
Room Measurements
• 2 15” x 15” (Walls)
• 15” x 15” (Floor)

ABOUT THE DECOR
The stand-out element of the s.p.o.t.s office is the black and white original s.p.o.t.s team mural. The picture from the mural was taken in 2019 when the s.p.o.t.s team was fully formed. That specific photo shoot was very special to us because it was one of our first group photo shoots that we ever did, so we brought that photo into the office and turned it into the mural.
Another special piece of the office is the custom black and white chevron floor, hand-drawn and colored with black sharpie.
And the office would not be complete without a hint of s.p.o.t.s signature color, hot pink. The two-seater couch was constructed a while back and was repurposed to sit in the office with some simple black throw pillows for comfort.
One of the top phrases that we like to use for s.p.o.t.s is “girl boss”, so we created a large wall decal with those very words in gold and added some gold decor to match it, including a kitty square spiral coffee table and some arrows for the wall.
ROOM CONSTRUCTION
Just like the dance studio, the office was built as a basic box room foam board structure for easy storing. We went with a white brick design to keep the room simple but add some texture to the background for photos.
Room Measurements
• 2 15” x 15” (Walls)
• 15” x 15” (Floor)
We still have a few more rooms to build and we can’t wait to show them when they’re finished!
We hope you enjoyed this post! Stay tuned for more posts throughout the rest of the month!

It’s the holiday season and we are feeling all kinds of holiday spirit at s.p.o.t.s! Our s.p.o.t.s loft has been transformed into a cool Christmas atmosphere thanks to some fun Christmas finds that we were able to get our hands on.
Christmas Tree
Our loft would not be complete for Christmas unless we purchased a Christmas tree to put in the set. We purchased a simple decorative tree from our local Five Below and it is the perfect size for our space. You can just about find a miniature tree at any store that sells holiday decor such as Michaels or Target, but this tree was the perfect fit for us.
Tiny Ornaments
Our miniature ornaments were an absolute steal. We found these decorative tiny ornaments at our local Michaels and got a pack of silver and red. They come in a few other colors as well and they work perfectly for any 1:6 scale doll Christmas tree.
Lights
The final touch for our Christmas decor are our fairy lights. We recently purchased them from Amazon. They are great for the set because they come in a pack of 2 and are operated by using remotes to change the light settings. This is particularly helpful so that you don’t have to constantly maneuver the battery pack to use the lights and their settings. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more 1:6 scale decor!
