KREATE Space Makeover, Pt. 6

Welcome to the final part of my KREATE Space Makeover!

This part features my art wall where all of my art supplies are stored.

To add even more pops of color to this wall, I decided to store all of my paper in these large acrylic bins, arranging them by color.

My anxiety bookshelf is also displayed in the space. This unique piece not only functions as a decor piece but also as a fun stress reliever when I need it.

The paper bins and anxiety bookshelf sit on my biggest storage solution for most of my art supplies: a large fabric drawer dresser.

This dresser was a great way to store my abundance of supplies that I’ve collected over the years in the same place.

Drawer 1: Markers & Wite Out
Drawer 2: Scissors
Drawer 3: Crayons & Chalk
Drawer 4: Watercolor Pencils & Pencil Sharpeners
Drawer 5: Highlighters
Drawer 6: Pom Poms
Drawer 7: Feathers
Drawer 8: Tape & Glue
Drawer 9: Straws
Drawer 10: Pipe Cleaners
Drawer 11: Paints
Drawer 12: Paint Supplies
Drawer 13: Easels, Canvases & Palettes
Drawer 14: Balloons & Balloon Supplies
Drawer 15: Felt
Drawer 16: Yarn & Ribbon
Drawer 17: Foam Sheets & Pillow Fluff
Drawer 18: Beads, Charms & Buttons

All of my beads and charms are either organized by type or color.

The second half of the wall is a makeshift table and shelving unit using a 9-cube shelf and compact folding desk.

I used a smaller acrylic bin to store and showcase my colored pencils on top of the 9-cube shelf. I intentionally placed them in the bin in the same direction to bring a subtle hint of polka dots into the space.

These two wire pencil cups hold my Twistables â„¢ and one of my sets of colorful pens.

Lastly, I have a large set of markers that I purchased from my local TJ Maxx stored in its original case.

The first three cube shelves are currently being used to hold 6 of my plastic shoe box bins. These bins contain the crafting supplies that I wanted to use as decor elements.

Shoe Box Bins 1 & 2: Label Making Supplies
Shoe Box Bin 3: Rope & Twine | Shoe Box Bin 4: String & Wire
Shoe Box Bin 5: Paper Crinkle | Shoe Box Bin 6: Envelopes

I found these round plastic bins with handles at Dollar Tree and used them to store my paper crafting supplies.

The bottom three cube shelves hold three fabric cube bins to hide some of my miscellaneous items.

Fabric Cube 1: Cleaning Supplies
Fabric Cube 2: Journals
Fabric Cube 3: Spiritual

I sorted all of my acrylic paints by color to create another rainbow effect and placed them in acrylic turnatables.

I love to wear headphones when I’m working in my space to help me focus. This acrylic headphone stand is a fun way to display them when not in use.

This turquoise pencil cup holds a few of my go-to materials such as scissors, a pen, and dry erase marker.

I placed a large paper clip note holder next to it for a fun decor piece.

All of my sticky notes, index cards, and small scrap paper are kept in another shoe box bin for quick note taking.

I repurposed a Sterilite 3-drawer storage unit for additional supplies under the desk.

This paper cutter and large dry-erase weekly planner are stored on top of it.

Drawer 1 has two 6-cup caddies that I purchased from Michaels for all of my pencils and pens. They are grouped together by type.

Drawer 2 holds all of my office supplies including paper clips, staples, staplers, push pins, book rings, safety pins, brads, rubber bands and binder clips.

Drawer 3 holds clipboards, sketch books and pads, and rulers.

My craft cart sits in front of the shelf to use to hold supplies when I am working on a project. I purchased it from Michaels in the Matte Jelly Mint color.

There is a good selection of accessories that can be used for this cart as well. I purchased one 3-slot organizer bin and two small hanging organizer bins for my cart.

My paper shredder is also stored under the desk when not in use.

The last piece of furniture in this space is the newest addition to the KREATE Space: my KREATE Table.

The KREATE Table is where all of my photography projects are going to take place. The desk has a built-in shelf in the back of it where I keep a few of my lights, cords, and photography equipment along with an outlet.

One feature that I love about this desk is that it not only is mobile but also has the option to be folded down when not in use. That is especially useful in a smaller space.

I hope you enjoyed this final part of the KREATE Space makeover! I look forward to all of the creative projects that will be brought to life in this space.

Thanks for reading! Happy creating!
