Welcome to Part 5 of my KREATE Space Makeover!
This part features my Style Station for my doll photoshoots.
One item on my KREATE Space wishlist that I wanted to check off was a small gallery wall so that I had some fun colorful photos to look at when I was working at my desk.

This first photo is of my LEGO® camera that I built last year and photographed with a turquoise backdrop so it could be framed on the wall.

My second photo was a DIY project using a few recycled Lakeshore Learning Store bags with this colorful pencil design.
To create this piece, I cut out each pencil, arranged them on a piece of white posterboard cut down to size and glued them around the border of the frame in an oval shape.
Both photos were strategically placed on the left side of the wall to highlight the art area next to it.

The photos and frames on the right side of the wall were placed to highlight the KREATE Closet.

I designed a poster that features the tagline for the KREATE Closet Instagram page (@the.kreate.closet) to hang on the wall.
I placed some Barbie and fashion design books along with some scrapbook paper sets to use as quick backdrops and storyboard paper on the desk for easy access.
I also purchased some small containers to hold some miscellaneous items such as cords, shelf holders, and fabric swatches.

I keep a water speaker that I purchased several years back on the desk with a wooden posable manikin figure for a fun and functional detail when I’m working.

A small white metal bucket holds all of my doll hair styling tools including combs, a small towel, and a spray bottle.

These three stackable small plastic containers with lids are used to sort my doll socks by color.

I found some small plastic turquoise storage drawers at Dollar Tree and used them to store all of my Barbie doll jewelry underneath the monitor stand on the desk along with some stackable clear containers from Michaels in various sizes.

The left side of my desk holds all of my doll photo boxes. These boxes are specifically designed to hold the dolls that I frequently photograph. To keep each doll in good condition, I place them each in 5” x 12” plastic zip bags before putting them back in the boxes.

The middle part of the desk holds two of my favorite storage finds for this space: my Vtopmart 6-Drawer storage organizers.
These drawers were the perfect solution to my storage needs for this space because they are designed to fit under desks. I cut and placed some various colors of cardstock and construction paper similarly to the front of some of the bins in the KREATE Closet to showcase my entire KREATE brand color scheme.
These organizers came with wheels to for easy mobility, but I chose to remove them since I knew that the organizers would remain stationary.

The top two drawers of the left organizer hold some of my mannequins, body forms, and doll stands.
The top two drawers of the right organizer hold my spare SYSMAX unit dividers, labels and clear zip bags in various sizes.

The middle drawers hold some of my future photoshoot clothing that I have yet to photograph. All of the clothes are placed in 4” x 6” clear zip bags with a label to keep each outfit and its shoes accessories organized.

The bottom drawers hold various types of fabrics that can be used for multiple purposes in crafting or fashions for photoshoots.

The right side of the desk holds two more photo storage boxes for dolls. I keep my typewriter keyboard stored there as well.

The medium-sized top drawer of the desk holds all of my doll heads that I occasionally swap on Barbie Made to Move™ bodies. Like the dolls in the photo boxes, they also are each placed in their own bag to conserve their condition.
The large bottom drawer holds other dolls that are not frequently used.

After a long hunt for the perfect rug, I finally found this one on Amazon. I debated on whether to get one in a color or lean towards a more neutral one. When I saw this beige one on Amazon, I loved the look of it and how simple but beautiful it was in my space.
One detail that I loved about it is that the braided texture reminded me of pencil shavings which tied the rug into my colored pencil artwork that I made for the gallery wall perfectly.

This small round table was purchased from Amazon. It functions as my planning table for photoshoots and projects.

I hope you enjoyed this part of the KREATE Space makeover! I linked some of the items featured in this post below.
Part 6 will be the final part of this makeover that features my art storage wall.
