My initial thought when I began the makeover process was that I wanted a cozy space to relax and brainstorm ideas.

I purchased this 6 inch tri-fold sofa bed from Costway. One thing that I love about it is that it has the option to be turned into a recliner, lazy couch, or twin mattress depending on my preference for the day. I also placed a small round table from Amazon next to the couch. The small black and white check rug is from Target.

Aside from the small pillow that was included with the couch, I purchased these two throw pillows from IKEA. The pillowcases are removable for easy washing.

Next to the couch are my tool box and woodworking cabinet. I store my basic tools such as nails, screws, craft knives, and screwdrivers in the tool box.

My woodworking cabinet houses all of my large and small wood pieces along with some of my larger tools like my wood cutter, hammer, and hot glue guns.

Above the woodworking cabinet is my inspiration board that I DIYed using a large piece of thick cardboard that I covered in contact paper. I pinned up some of my favorite photos, projects, messages, and memorable moments from my creative journey. I love having a piece that not only acts as a decor element in the space, but also a physical reminder of my past projects that I enjoyed doing.

The snack bar was one of my latest additions to the space.

This 20 inch neon LED sign was purchased from Etsy.

I purchased a mini fridge to hold beverages and snacks when I’m lounging in the space.

I turned this SYSMAX storage drawer unit on top of the fridge into a grab and go snack storage unit.

This three-cube shelf organizer is where I keep my pre-packaged snacks, snack containers, and plastic cutlery. The black and white gingham fabric bins are from Target and the white one is from Amazon.

I also purchased a mini popcorn machine from Amazon for a fun snack bar element.

The last furniture piece that I purchased for the snack bar area is a media tower. It currently displays my entire DVD collection from my childhood to present day as well as some other collector and decor pieces like two of my Funko Pops, a marquee star light, and candy jar.

The DVDs are currently categorized into 6 sections: Musicals, Superheroes/Fantasy, Family, Animated, Drama, and Princesses/Fairytales.

I hope you enjoyed this first part of the KREATE Space makeover! I linked as many items that I could below.
Part 2 will feature my storage wall that contains all of my props, sets, and large crafting supplies.
